Our standard Xpandrel® line is an extremely practical and versatile workholding solution for most applications. However, for those times when you need a specialized tool for a challenging job, we offer a custom Xpandrel® designed to fit your exact requirements. We can make your custom Xpandrel® using materials from plastic to hardened steel, or simply install steel or plastic inserts on specific locating surfaces. We can build custom Xpandrels over 12” in diameter and over 80” long, in an assortment of shapes: round, square, hexagon, rectangle, elliptical, etc. Custom Xpandrels can also be made with a blind end for holding in a collet or chuck instead of centers. In addition, we offer a variety of coatings to increase wear resistance and reduce loading friction.
